I have a 475GB C drive, but I'm down to only 49GB of free space and I can't figure out why. I've already deleted my temporary files and emptied the recycle bin, but I'm still at 49GB free. Any suggestions on how to free up more space?

You might want to check if 475GB is the total for just the C partition. Sometimes recovery partitions can take up space too. Also, what version of Windows are you running? Besides temp files, there are other hidden files like the MSI cache that can take up significant space.
If you're still having trouble, consider uninstalling any programs you don’t need and check for large video files you may have forgotten about. If it’s really tight, you might want to think about upgrading to a larger hard drive.
Do you have a lot of games or videos stored on your drive? Those can eat up space pretty quickly.
Make sure you run disk cleanup and include the system files option. Windows tends to keep a lot of installation files which can take up a lot of memory.
Try using a software like WizTree. It helps visualize what's taking up space, but be careful not to delete anything essential if you're not sure what it is!

Yeah, just make sure you don't end up deleting something crucial. Those tools can be a little risky if you're not familiar with your files.
