I'm trying to add my Visa debit card from Technobank in Belarus to Apple Pay, but the setup fails on my iPhone with the CH/A regional model code. The same card links successfully on other devices with L/A and HN/A model codes, so the bank supports Apple Pay. Technobank also says they don't see any card-linking request in their system. Has anyone dealt with this device-specific problem, and is there anything I can try?

First, confirm that the exact iPhone model and region support Apple Pay, and check that the device is running the latest iOS version. Since the card works on other devices, the issue may be related to the CH/A model or its regional configuration rather than the bank.
The bank may not receive a request if the phone blocks the setup before the authorization stage. Check Settings > General > Language & Region, make sure the date and time are automatic, and confirm that the iPhone has a passcode and two-factor authentication enabled.
Try removing any existing payment cards, restarting the iPhone, signing out and back into your Apple Account, and then adding the card again through the Wallet app. If that still fails, Apple Support may need to check whether Apple Pay is restricted for that particular device region.
