I reset my BIOS after a failed Linux installation left my computer nearly unusable. Since then, Windows 11 Pro has shown two major issues: my PIN is unavailable and needs to be changed online, and the Wi-Fi option has completely disappeared from the taskbar. There is no network list or option to search for wireless networks at all. I was able to access my account with Hiren's BootCD, and my files are safe. My system uses an MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard, a Ryzen 5 7600 processor, 32GB of DDR5 memory, 1TB of storage, and an RTX 3060. I have ordered an Ethernet cable to test a wired connection, but what else should I check to restore Wi-Fi?

After a BIOS reset, the onboard Wi-Fi may be disabled or Windows may have lost its driver. Enter the BIOS and check that the integrated wireless adapter is enabled. Once you have internet through Ethernet, download and install the Wi-Fi and chipset drivers from MSI’s official support page for the B650 Gaming Plus WiFi. Also check Device Manager for a missing or disabled network adapter.
