I have an MSI Crosshair 16 HX D14VFKG. Wi-Fi worked normally before I used Windows System Reset, but afterward the wireless connection stopped working completely. I tried uninstalling the Wi-Fi adapter driver and restarting, but the driver keeps reappearing and Wi-Fi still does not function. What should I check or install to get wireless working again?

A Windows reset may remove the manufacturer-specific drivers, so download the WLAN driver for your exact MSI model from MSI’s support page using another device. Transfer it with a USB drive and install it manually, then restart the laptop.
It may not be only the Wi-Fi driver. Install the chipset, Intel or AMD system, and network-related drivers listed for your laptop, along with Windows updates. If possible, temporarily connect through Ethernet or use USB tethering from a phone so Windows Update can fetch missing drivers.
Check Device Manager under Network adapters and Other devices. If the wireless adapter is missing or has a warning icon, open its Properties and look at the error code. Also make sure WLAN AutoConfig is running in Windows Services, since a disabled service can prevent Wi-Fi from appearing even when the driver is installed.
I used Windows System Reset rather than reinstalling Windows from external media. The Wi-Fi adapter still appears, but uninstalling its driver does not seem to remove it permanently.
