I recently bought a Gigabyte Windforce RTX 5070 Ti (GV-N507TGAMING OC-16GD), but it has not arrived yet, so I'm trying to confirm whether it will work with my ASRock B450M-HDV motherboard. My current RTX 3070 fits without any trouble, but I've heard that newer graphics cards can be so thick that they cover the motherboard's lower headers, especially on micro-ATX boards. Would the 5070 Ti interfere with the SATA or front-panel USB 3.0 connectors? Should I plan on using right-angle cables or a vertical GPU mount, or is a normal horizontal installation likely to work?

Look at the motherboard layout and the card’s thickness rather than focusing only on whether the PCIe slot supports it. A large GPU may partially cover the SATA or front USB headers, but that does not automatically make the setup impossible. If a connector is blocked, a short right-angle SATA cable or a 90-degree USB 3.0 adapter can solve it, provided there is still room for the cable to bend.
The motherboard should support the card electrically without a problem. The main issue is physical clearance. That Windforce model is a thick card, so check its exact length and slot thickness against your case and the position of the motherboard’s bottom headers. Don’t buy adapters or change anything until you can test-fit the card; two-slot cards are usually fine, while a three-slot card may cover some connectors.
