Advice for Replacing My RAM and Motherboard

I'm in a bit of a pickle—both of my RAM sticks seem to have fried at once, and I suspect that the motherboard might be at fault. I'm considering replacing them, but I could use some help figuring out which components to choose. Here's a link to my current setup: [This is my current setup.](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QKC4HG)

I'm thinking about switching to a different motherboard and RAM combo since I'm not sure if the current ones were defective. **I'd like to keep my budget under 400€ and I'm ordering from Italy.** Is that doable? Also, do I really need 32GB of RAM for my needs?

Any recommendations you have would be greatly appreciated! I know prices are crazy right now for RAM, but I need to make a move.

You might want to consider RMA-ing the motherboard and RAM since they should be under warranty. That's typically what warranties are for!

I bought them on Amazon over a year ago, so I think that option’s out for me.

For most situations, 16GB of RAM is perfectly fine. However, if you want to overclock with DDR5, it's better to use two modules for stability. You might want to just opt for 32GB from the start, as fast RAM doesn’t usually yield significant performance boosts. Given your budget, look for the cheapest kit available, especially since dollar for dollar, investing in better CPU or GPU might yield better results right now!

Thanks for the insight! I'm clueless when it comes to RAM. Any specific brands or models you would recommend?
