Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on my new PC build, which I'll mainly use for gaming, especially MMORPGs, and for IT work. Here are the components I've chosen so far:

- **Case:** Lian Li Lancool 217 White
- **PSU:** 850W Lian Li EDGE Gold
- **Motherboard:** GIGABYTE B860 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE or MSI B860M GAMING PLUS WIFI
- **CPU:** Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF (3.6GHz)
- **Cooler:** Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB White or Lian Li HydroShift II LCD
- **GPU:** MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GAMING TRIO OC WHITE
- **RAM:** 2x16GB DDR5 6000 ADATA XPG Lancer Blade RGB
- **SSD:** 1TB SSD ADATA Legend 860

Also, I'm using an HP 27xq 1440 monitor.

I'd like your opinions on a couple of things: 1) Should I switch to an AMD CPU with a new motherboard for better performance? 2) Are there any components here that you would recommend changing or upgrading? Thanks a bunch for your help!

Thanks for the insight! I mostly use software like Miro, Figma, Canva, and Capcut for design, and I often have many browser tabs open, plus some coding. A good cooler is important for me due to aesthetics and design, so would you still recommend against a liquid cooler even if I go for AMD? Also, could you suggest an AMD CPU that would be comparable to the Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF?

Going with AMD might be a good choice depending on your specific needs for IT work. Generally, AMD CPUs can deliver better performance for gaming. For your SSD, I recommend switching to a TLC NAND option instead of the QLC. The SK Hynix P41 is a great choice and offers solid performance without breaking the bank. And about the liquid cooler—it seems like overkill for your setup! You could save money by opting for a more budget-friendly air cooler like the ThermalRight Phantom Spirit, which would work nicely with these parts and be quieter too.
