Advice Needed for Motherboard and Storage Options in My New PC Build

Hey folks! I'm putting together a new PC build and could really use some guidance on selecting a motherboard. Here are my specs:

- GPU: NVIDIA 5070ti
- CPU: Ryzen 9800x3d
- Power Supply: EDGE GOLD 850 Watt 80 Plus Gold ATX Fully Modular.

Also, I'm considering my storage options. I have both an SSD and an HDD at my disposal, but I'm unsure which one would be the most effective for my setup. Since my last build was about six years ago, things have certainly changed. Is the HDD still a solid choice, or should I prioritize the SSD instead?

Absolutely, SSDs are the way to go right now! They make a noticeable difference for booting and gaming. About the aesthetics: if your build is all white, you might want to consider a white SSD. While they’re usually tucked away, it can add a nice touch to your build overall.

Thanks for the tip! I wasn’t sure if the color mattered since it’s small, but I love keeping things cohesive!

If you're looking for performance, definitely go with the SSD for your boot drive and for running games. HDDs are more suited for backups and large files rather than everyday use. A decent B850 motherboard should work well with your setup. By the way, I recommend any PCIe 4.0 SSD that uses TLC NAND for the best performance.

Great advice! I’m considering the ASRock Z890 PRO RS WiFi motherboard. Is that a good choice for my build, or should I look for something better?
