Hey everyone! I'm trying to build my first gaming PC and I'd really appreciate your input on my proposed setup. I'm transitioning from a PS5 to PC gaming and I want to keep my build compact with a Micro ATX case. Here's what I have so far:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9700x
- **GPU**: Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 5070Ti
- **CPU Cooler**: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B850M AORUS ELITE WIFI6E
- **Memory**: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM 32Gb (16X2)
- **Storage**: Silicon Power 4TB US75 NVMe 4.0 PCIe M2 SSD 7000/6500 Mb/s
- **Case**: Asus Prime AP201 TG Micro ATX 33L
- **Power Supply**: Corsair RM850e ATX; ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1
- **Fan Case**: Arctic P12 Max
My main uncertainty is whether to go with the Ryzen 7 9700x or upgrade to the 9800x3d for better gaming performance. Any suggestions on how to improve this build or which CPU to choose would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

Your build looks really solid for high-end gaming! If you're primarily gaming, I’d recommend the **9800X3D** over the 9700X. The 3D V-Cache on the 9800X3D provides great performance boosts in modern games, especially at 1080p or 1440p. The 9700X is good, but it’s more versatile for tasks beyond gaming.
Also, ensure your RAM is at 6000 MHz with low latency for optimal performance with Ryzen. As for the **Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm**, check if your case can fit it; a 240mm cooler might be a safer bet if you're unsure. The 4TB storage is awesome as long as the durability rating looks good. Overall, you're on the right track!
FYI, my Corsair Vengeance is indeed a DDR5 6000 MHz CL.
Just a heads up about the **Silicon Power US75**—it's got QLC flash, which means lower durability. After a few years, you might see performance drops. Look into alternatives like the WD Blue SN5000 or TeamGroup MP44 for better durability and speed. Overall, choose quality TLC flash for longevity!
Thanks for the advice! Really appreciate it.
