Hey everyone! I'm a total beginner when it comes to building my first gaming and work PC. After doing some research, I've compiled a parts list and I'd love to hear your thoughts or any tips you have! Here's what I'm planning:
- CPU: R5 7500F (already ordered)
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 WiFi 6 AM5
- RAM: Kingston Fury Beast 16GB (2 x 8GB)
- GPU: XFX 9060XT Swift 16GB
- SSD: Patriot 1TB
- PSU: Corsair CX650 650W
- Cooler: ID-Cooling FX360 liquid
The total comes to about $1.4k. I'm hoping to create a setup that can last a while and handle games like BF6 and other AAA titles. Any advice would be really appreciated!

If you're aiming to play AAA games for a long time, you might not max out the settings with this build. But if you’re okay with that, it should serve you well as a starter PC!
For RAM, I’ve always been told 2x 16GB is the sweet spot. It can be pricier, but it's totally worth it in the long run! But hey, maybe wait for someone with even more expertise to chime in.
True! But it seems like you're already at your budget limit.
Wow, $1.4k seems a bit high for those components. Are prices in your area generally inflated? Might want to double-check some alternatives!
Yeah, I hear you! It's a bit of a bummer when local prices are so high.

I'm fine with that! What are some components I could upgrade to not be classified as just a starter PC?
