Hey folks! I built my PC back in 2021, and I'm thinking it's time for an upgrade. Here's my current setup:
- **CPU**: Ryzen 3 3100
- **RAM**: 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz
- **GPU**: GTX 1650 Super (4 GB)
- **Storage**: 1 TB HDD, 512 GB SSD, and 224 GB SATA SSD (for Windows)
- **Motherboard**: B450M VDH Pro Max
- **Monitor**: LG 1080p at 75 Hz
- **Power Supply**: Gigabyte 450W Bronze
I mostly play games like Valorant, GTA Online, BO6, and Call of Duty, achieving about 150-250 FPS in Valorant and 150-190 FPS in GTA Online on medium settings, with temperatures staying under 70°C.
I'm considering either selling this PC or upgrading to an AM5 build. My upgrade options include:
- Ryzen 5 5600 or 5700X (around 10 to 15k)
- 9060 XT 16 GB (about 46k)
- 650W power supply (5k)
- New monitor for 1440p gaming (around 21k)
How much do you think I could get for selling my current setup, and would upgrading make sense?

I’d recommend going for the Ryzen 5 5600 and a 9060 XT 16 GB if you want to make the most of your monitor. Your storage and RAM are fine for now, especially considering the current shortages. It'll definitely improve your gaming experience!
Yeah, but keep in mind that would be an investment; the total is around 84k!
If you're selling, your setup is probably worth between $175 to $250. Your AMD 3100 and GTX 1650 aren't fetching much these days, and used parts have dropped significantly in value. It might be wise to hold off and just upgrade your CPU for a while!
I totally agree! I think getting around $335 to $390 might just be too optimistic with how the market is right now.

I currently have a 24-inch 75 Hz monitor and it's been great for me!
