Hi everyone! I'm in the process of upgrading my CPU and GPU (and possibly the motherboard if necessary) and could use some guidance. Here are my current specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060
- Motherboard: Gigabyte H610M S2H
- RAM: 16 GB Kingston Fury DDR5 (I'm also getting another 16 GB stick to upgrade to 32 GB)
- SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB (which I'm fine with keeping)
- Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow
I have a budget of around $1100-1200 for the CPU and GPU upgrades. I'm open to getting a new motherboard if it's necessary, as long as it fits in my case. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

If you’re into gaming, I’d recommend going for either an Intel Core i5-13600K or i5-14600K paired with a powerful cooler—like the Peerless Assassin—if it fits. For the GPU, check out the RX 9070XT; it'll give you excellent performance across the board.

Cool, I’m planning on gaming and maybe even streaming. Quick question: should I choose between the 14600K and 14700K? Also, is it better to go with the 9070XT or the Nvidia 5070? I’ve had someone else recommend the Nvidia card as well.
