I've been working on my PC for a while now and have run into a snag. I'm trying to run Cyberpunk 2077 and so far I have everything I need except for a CPU. My current setup is pretty old, and the motherboard isn't compatible with the CPUs I've been looking at. Can anyone recommend a motherboard and CPU combo that can run Cyberpunk 2077 well and Elden Ring even better? I'm open to pricing but would prefer to keep it below 1000 CAD if possible. Also, if I need to get a new case, I'm fine with that too.

Cyberpunk really relies heavily on the GPU rather than the CPU. Can you share your current specs? It'd help us give you better recommendations!
Sure! Here are my specs: Intel Core i5-6400 @ 2.70GHz, 24GB RAM, 224GB SSD, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. My CPU is actually over 10 years old! Any thoughts?
