Advice Needed for Upgrading My Gaming PC

Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my gaming setup and could use some advice. I'm currently running an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X with an RTX 3060 Ti and I have 32GB of RAM at 3600MHz. I mainly play Escape from Tarkov and would like to stick with my AM4 motherboard for the time being. I've heard about the 5800X3D, but it seems to be out of stock or really overpriced. I'm also considering getting an RTX 5070, but I'm worried about potential bottlenecks. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

You should definitely consider the 9070 XT instead. Upgrading further on AM4 is limited, and the 5800X3D won't provide a groundbreaking performance increase.

I just got a 5070 and upgraded to a 5800XT from a Ryzen 5 3600, but honestly, the X3D is overpriced and not worth the investment right now.

If you're gaming at 1080p or even dipping into 1440p, I'd recommend going for a 5060 Ti with 16GB. I upgraded to a 5060 Ti with my AM4 setup and it pairs well with my Ryzen 7 5700X. I'm planning to transfer it to an AM5 setup in the future.

Honestly, if you're at a point where upgrading isn't a necessity, you might want to hold off. Most CPU upgrades won't be worth it unless something gives out. I'd recommend saving for an AM5 setup instead. As for the 5070, it might create some bottlenecking, but it won't be a huge deal. I upgraded to a 5070 from a 9700K and saw a massive improvement over my previous 2070 Super.

The 5800X3D isn't really available anymore, and you're not missing out on too much. Your current GPU is likely the bottleneck unless you're gaming at super high frame rates in something like Counter-Strike. Save your cash and aim for something more powerful like a 9070, 9070 XT, or even a 5070 Ti. Your CPU setup is solid as it is.
