Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my GPU in the next couple of months and would love some advice. I'm looking at Nvidia cards specifically since I'm more familiar with them and I do more than just gaming. A friend recommended the 5070 and the 5070 Ti. While I can definitely afford the 5070, the 5070 Ti is stretching my budget a bit. Is the difference between 12GB and 16GB worth it? Should I consider another option? Here are my current specs: CPU: I7-12700K, GPU: 3060 Ti, RAM: 32 GB, PSU: 800W.

The 5070 Ti is super powerful, especially if you overclock it. If your budget allows, I'd lean toward the Ti version since it'll serve you well for a long time, especially at 1440p.
Check out the performance of both models in the games that matter to you, especially at the resolution you'll be playing. Your setup should handle either card without a hitch.
Just a heads up, in two months, the price for a 5070 Ti might actually be higher than a 5080 today, so keep an eye on that!
It really depends where you are. If you do a lot of productivity on your GPU, the 5070 Ti is a solid upgrade, especially with the extra VRAM available. Just need to figure out what prices you're looking at.
If you can make the budget stretch, I suggest going with the Ti. I've found that the extra VRAM really makes a difference in some games—I've hit 12GB in a few already. I've regretted not going for the Ti previously; the long-term benefits outweigh the initial cost.
