I'm in the process of building my PC, and after saving up for over a year, I'm finally ready to invest in my first big GPU—a 5080 card! I want to make sure I choose the right one since I'll be using it for years to come. I'm currently deciding between the MSI Gaming Trio 5080 and the Gigabyte Gaming OC 5080. Both cards seem impressive, but I'm curious which one offers better price, performance, and cooling. I've heard the Gigabyte might have better cooling but would love to know how much of a difference that makes. Also, I noticed that the Gigabyte is a 3-slot card while the MSI is a 2.5-slot card. What do you think?

Honestly, I lean towards MSI just because I like the brand, but there's really not much difference in actual performance between the two. It mostly comes down to personal preference!

True, it mainly seems to be about thickness. The three-slot and two-and-a-half-slot difference matters, but I've noticed some people think the MSI is a bit overpriced compared to the Gigabyte. I've had MSI cards before and I loved them, but it's a tough call!
