Advice Needed on My First Custom PC Build

Hey everyone! After considering a pre-built PC deal, I've decided to build one myself. I've put together a list of components that I'm thinking about purchasing. Here's the link to my build: [https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/NRyF2x](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/NRyF2x). I'd love to hear your thoughts on any changes or swaps for better options before I finalize my list and start buying everything. I'm also contemplating downgrading my CPU and GPU (to the 5070TI) to save around $500, but I'm not entirely sure about that yet.

I think you can make a few tweaks to your build:

- Opt for 6000MT/s CL30 RAM instead of CL36 for better performance.
- Consider getting a B850 motherboard; they’re pretty much in the same price range now. Check out this one: [Gigabyte B850 Eagle](https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/Rf8Pxr/gigabyte-b850-eagle-wifi6e-atx-am5-motherboard-b850-eagle-wifi6e).
- The 5070Ti is a smart choice; it’s only about 15% slower but can save you a lot of money since the price difference is significant.
- The 9800X3D should work great for your needs.
- If you want to save some cash, you could drop the power supply down to 850W instead of 1000W since the latter is more than you’ll actually need.

Thanks for the suggestions! I changed the motherboard based on your advice. I’m still torn about the GPU though; there’s a sale ending in just a few hours for $1450 on the 5070TI, while it's $1100 for the regular one. Also, can you clarify more about the storage options?
