I'm in the process of building a Linux PC and have a question regarding RGB fans in my case. I'm considering the Phantek XT Pro Ultra case, but I'm concerned about the RGB fans since I've read that controlling them on Linux can be tricky. I've also looked into OpenRGB for managing RGB across different components, but it seems like the Phantek case isn't listed on their site. Does this mean OpenRGB won't be able to control the RGB fans, or is it just a matter of the case not being tested yet? By the way, I'm planning to use the ASUS TUF Gaming B650-Plus WIFI motherboard, which does have an RGB header.

A good point to keep in mind is that not all motherboards have been thoroughly tested with OpenRGB. To check compatibility, it’s best to look for user reports or forums discussing your specific motherboard model. If no results come up, it's possible that OpenRGB simply hasn't tested it yet, but it doesn't necessarily mean it won't work.
The RGB fans are actually controlled by your motherboard, not the case itself. So as long as the motherboard is compatible with the fans, you should be fine. Just pick a motherboard that has RGB support and is known to work well with Linux systems.
