Hey everyone! I'm venturing into the world of building my very first gaming PC and I would love some guidance. I'm torn between two CPU and GPU combinations:
1. Ryzen 5 9600X (€193) paired with ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX (€826) for a total of €1,019.
2. Ryzen 7 7800X3D (€356) with Radeon RX 9070 XT (€684) totaling €1,040.
I know some games are more CPU bound, especially at 1080p and 2k, while others demand more from the GPU, particularly at 2k and 4k. My primary games are competitive FPS titles like Warzone and The Finals, with a splash of casual gaming (Sons of the Forest, for example). I'm focusing on 2k gaming moving forward and I want to balance good visuals with decent FPS.
I've done some research, but I keep getting mixed signals from benchmarks and articles. Any tips or preferences between these setups would be super helpful!

If you're aiming for 2K gaming, I'd definitely recommend the second option. The 9070XT is a newer card and offers better DLSS and ray tracing support compared to the 7900XTX, though it is a bit less powerful overall. If you're just gaming, it should handle 2K just fine. But if you might venture into video editing or 3D rendering, the 7900XTX would be a stronger pick long-term since it's still very capable.
Thanks for the insight! Would I see a big FPS boost if I pair the 7900XTX with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D instead? Is the extra €140 worth it?
