Affordable Quiet CPU Cooler Options?

I'm looking for a budget-friendly CPU cooler that prioritizes quiet operation. I've heard a lot about Noctua coolers like the NH-D15, but they seem way too expensive for me. I'm willing to spend a bit more for something good, but ideally, I'm hoping to find a cooler under $70 that can efficiently cool my Ryzen 5 4650G PRO without much noise. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Deepcool AK620 is also an option that's been getting a lot of love lately. It’s great for 1440p gaming and isn't too loud either.

Honestly, pretty much any good dual-tower cooler will do the job for your Ryzen 5. Brands like Thermalright and Deepcool have solid options that won't make your wallet suffer. Just remember to adjust your fan settings for quieter operation.

You might want to check out the Peerless Assassin or the Phantom Spirit. Both are really affordable, usually around $30-$40, and they outperform the NH-D15 at half the price. Plus, if you set a quiet fan curve, you can keep things pretty silent even under load. Since your CPU has a 65W TDP, a dual-tower cooler should give you plenty of overhead without needing to crank up the fans too much.

I have the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 Evo, and it’s practically silent at idle and only slightly audible under load. I got mine for around $50, and it keeps my Ryzen 7 5700x3d in the low 40s °C at idle. If you can fit it, I highly recommend it!

Totally agree! Just make sure your case has enough clearance for it, though.

If you're really tight on budget, consider the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition for just $25. It's a classic and does a decent job without breaking the bank. Can be a good entry-level cooler!
