I'm looking for suggestions on how to improve my PC without breaking the bank. I don't want my system to feel outdated, and I'm open to upgrades. Here are my current specs: Intel I5 8600, AMD Radeon RX580, 16GB DDR4 1333MHz RAM, MSI Z370-A Pro, Corsair 550W PSU, and 2TB storage (1 SSD, 1 HDD). Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

You're probably working with the Intel I5 8500, right? What's your upgrade budget looking like?

Thanks for the correction! I'm thinking between $400 to $600.

Are you cool with buying used parts? Intel tends to complicate the upgrade path; you'd likely need a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM. A combo of a 7600 and a cheap AM5 board will set you back around $400. If you're going used, though, you can find great deals on parts like the 5600x or 5800x right now. As for the GPU, upgrading to something like the RX 6600 for around $220 could give you a big performance boost. I really think going the used route could maximize your budget to get you much better performance!

Honestly, your CPU setup is over a decade old. A few upgrades could help, but I'd suggest saving up for a bigger upgrade when you hit around $500 or so. It'll be worth it for a more substantial refresh.
