I've been using my trusty 1060 for quite a while now, but I'm looking to upgrade. I'm interested in the 5070 Ti and the 9070 XT, but I'm having a hard time finding them in stock. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for successfully getting one of these graphics cards?

I totally get where you're coming from! It's a pain right now with stock issues. One strategy I found useful is to sign up for stock tracking services. They’ll alert you when GPUs become available, which can be a game changer.

I ended up getting a 7900 XT and plan to sell it when the 9070 XT is more readily available. Just playing the waiting game for now!

Honestly, your best bet might be to check out local brick-and-mortar stores like Microcenter. I went there during a weekday and scored a 9070 XT! They had plenty in stock when I showed up. Definitely worth a shot if you're near one.

Yeah, timing is everything! I also got lucky at mine. Just go during less busy hours and be ready to snag one!

Went through a wild experience myself! I ordered a 5070 Ti for $829 and ended up trading it for a 5080. It felt like a bit of a gamble, constantly checking for alerts, but it was worth it! Just be prepared for a lot of effort.

Sounds exhausting! But congrats on the good deal. It's definitely a bit like a treasure hunt at this point.

If you can't find new cards, consider browsing eBay or Facebook Marketplace for pre-owned options. Just be cautious and check the seller's reputation. Also, don’t forget sites like PCPartPicker to keep track of new arrivals.
