Anyone else getting false alerts from Microsoft Defender?

We've been dealing with a flood of alerts stating *'A potentially malicious URL click was detected'* for what seems like legitimate websites over the last hour. Moreover, emails containing these URLs are being flagged and removed with messages like *'Email messages containing malicious URL removed after delivery'* popping up. Is this happening to anyone else? It looks like there's a significant issue on Microsoft's end.

Same issue in Eastern Europe, including the UK and Ireland. We've seen over 30 alerts in total! Definitely not ideal.

Just from my understanding, sometimes these alerts can be due to certain hosting services where legitimate sites might be sharing hosts with problematic ones—could that be part of the issue? Because a few of those legitimate sites have raised flags.

I’ve been seeing these alerts sporadically too, coming in at strange times, and all without any actual proof of malicious content. It's puzzling.

Started happening a couple of hours ago for multiple clients. What a wild way to end the week! Thanks, Microsoft...

Seriously, it's unfortunate these things happen, especially on a Friday.

Yeah, we're experiencing the same thing here in Sweden. Just in the last hour, we've received about five alerts. Typical Microsoft causing chaos on a Friday right before everyone clocks out for the weekend!
