I'm curious if anyone out there has successfully put together a solid PC using the 9950X3D CPU, at least 64GB of RAM, and a 50-series NVIDIA GPU without facing crashes or any Event Viewer errors. If you've managed to build a stable setup, which motherboard and RAM are you using? What steps did you take to achieve stability? Also, which NVIDIA driver version have you found works best?

I've actually got that setup: 9950X3D with an X670E Ace motherboard, 96GB RAM, and a 5090 GPU. It’s been running smoothly for a while now! The only hiccup was the initial 5000 series NVIDIA drivers being pretty rough, but everything's been great since they released an update.

Honestly, it's pretty straightforward! Just grab a solid B650 motherboard or something better, and go for 64GB of RAM with tight timings. If you encounter issues, you can always loosen the timings a bit. A 50-series GPU should fit in just fine too! No need to stress about stability; modern builds are simpler than they seem.

I suggest opting for a 2 x 32GB RAM kit; that combo usually avoids a lot of issues. It's a solid choice for this kind of setup.

Thanks for the tip! That sounds like a good plan.
