Are My Cooler Temperatures Normal?

I've got an iCUE H100i AIO cooler with two fans mounted on my AMD 5900XT. Currently, it's idling at temperatures between 50 to 55 degrees Celsius, and it's drawing about 40 watts at idle. When I put it under heavy load—like when I'm running a BOINC project that fully utilizes all 32 virtual cores—the temps only reach around 75 to 80 degrees Celsius. Do these temperatures seem normal to you?

Everything looks good to me! Those load temps are perfectly fine. You could adjust your fan curves if you want a bit more cooling, but honestly, if it’s working without any issues, there's no need to stress.

Thanks for reassuring me! I guess I might be overthinking this.

Those idle temperatures do seem a bit high, but the temps under full load are actually pretty typical for your setup. It sounds like your fan settings might be the culprit; they could be set to a low threshold before they start spinning, so that's why your idle temps are creeping up there. You might want to check your fan curves and adjust them for lower idle temperatures.

I tried maxing out the fans, and it dropped to around 48 degrees, but that still feels a bit high to me.
