I'm considering some upgrades for my first PC, and I'm not sure if they're worth the investment. Currently, I have a Ryzen 5 8400F CPU and I'm thinking about upgrading to a Ryzen 7 9700X. For my GPU, I want to go from a 5060 Ti (16GB) to a 5070 Ti. Since I'm young and money is tight, I would appreciate any advice on whether these upgrades would significantly improve my performance.

Upgrading the CPU sounds like a good move, especially since the Ryzen 7 9700X will give you a noticeable performance boost. On the other hand, the GPU upgrade might not be as impactful; you could see maybe a 10% improvement. I'd recommend sticking with what you have for now and saving up to get a solid upgrade later on.
I suggest holding off on the GPU upgrade. If you go from the 5060 Ti to a 5070 Ti, you might find that you quickly want an 80 series upgrade afterward, which can turn into a costly cycle. If you're aiming to upgrade, it might be wiser to save up for a bigger jump later.
Both upgrades should provide a good enhancement. The Ryzen 7 will definitely outperform the 8400F, thanks to better boost speeds and cache. The 5070 Ti is quite an improvement too, especially for 1440p gaming, compared to the 5060 Ti, which is more suited for 1080p.

That makes sense! I've only had my PC for four months and I'm still learning. Also, is it safe to dust my PC with a microfiber cloth and a blower, instead of compressed air?
