Are My Ryzen 7500F Temperatures Too High?

Hey everyone! I just built my first PC and paired a Ryzen 7500F with a Peerless Assassin 120 cooler. I've noticed that my temperatures seem higher than what I've seen online. At a room temperature of 22°C, I'm getting around 50-52°C for idle package CPU temps and about 35°C for core temps. After running Cinebench for about 5 minutes, my package temp jumps to 74-75°C. I'm a bit unsure if I applied the thermal paste correctly since I'm still learning. Is this temperature range okay to run? Should I worry about it, or will it be safe to hold off on reapplying the paste for a year?

Yep, your temps are decent! The real concern only kicks in around the 90°C mark. You're good to go for now!

Your temps are totally fine! You only need to worry if it starts hitting around 85°C or higher.

Got it, thanks for the reassurance!

It's actually the case design and airflow that matters more than the CPU's idle temp. Make sure you've got enough fans and good airflow in your setup to keep those temps down.

Your idle temps are nothing to stress about. 52°C when idle is perfectly okay. Just remember to keep an eye on those load temps—you shouldn't reach over 90°C for any lengthy period of time. Your CPU is made to handle up to 95°C before throttling kicks in, so you’re in a safe range!

Honestly, the temps are on the higher end, but not at dangerous levels. Factors like humidity, room ventilation, and how your case is set up can all affect your CPU temps. Just keep an eye on it!
