I'm curious about the safety of using self-service photo kiosks at stores like Walgreens or CVS. Specifically, I want to know if it's safe to connect my phone via USB to print photos directly, rather than uploading them to an app. Could I end up with malware or viruses from this method?

I wouldn’t worry too much about places like Walgreens or Walmart. The risk of getting malware is low, especially in well-known stores. However, I might hesitate at a random small shop. Just stay cautious!
Definitely check the terms of service at those kiosks. Some keep copies of your photos and can use them however they want. They've had issues in the past where they misused user photos for ads!
