Are There Any Honest Storage Drive Companies That Use Binary Sizes?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to find storage drive manufacturers that are upfront about their sizes using binary calculations instead of decimal. I want to make sure that when I buy a 1TB drive, I actually get close to that amount—like a true tebibyte (TiB) instead of ending up with something like 950GB. Has anyone found reliable brands that do this?

Actually, it's the other way around! Binary sizes (like GiB) are technically bigger than decimal sizes (GB). Manufacturers typically advertise the decimal size, which can create confusion when the operating system displays the capacity in binary. If you want to know who's using binary sizes, you might need to do some digging, as most will stick to the easier decimal measurements.

If worrying about storage sizes is your biggest problem, you might want to take a step back and consider the positives in life. Missing some storage doesn’t seem like a huge deal in the grand scheme of things!
