Are There Any Ways to Make This First PC Build Cheaper?

This is my first time putting together a PC, and I'd like to know whether any of the parts in my planned build can be swapped for cheaper alternatives before I place the order. I'm especially interested in keeping good performance while avoiding unnecessary upgrades or overkill components.

The build looks solid overall, so there’s nothing that absolutely needs changing. One performance-focused option would be replacing the RTX 5070 with an RX 9070 XT if they’re available at similar prices where you live. The 9070 XT is generally the stronger card, although the better choice depends on the games and features you care about.

What are the main differences between the two graphics cards?

You could save money by using a Ryzen 5 7600X instead of the 9600X, or possibly a 7500F if you’re comfortable buying from a reputable marketplace. These processors run relatively cool, so a large dual-tower cooler isn’t necessary; a Thermalright Assassin X120-class cooler should be sufficient. The RTX 5070 can technically run on a 650W power supply, but 750W would be a more comfortable and sensible choice. RAM is another possible place to cut costs, though buying just one 16GB stick now and adding another later will reduce performance in the meantime, and the savings may not be very significant.
