I'm looking to put together a gaming PC for my girlfriend with a budget of around $1000. She mainly enjoys playing The Sims, Minecraft, Valorant, 7 Days to Die, and Call of Duty. She already has a 1TB SSD since she owns an external hard drive, so no need for extra storage. I'm open to any suggestions or changes to improve the build! Here's the current list I created: pcpartpicker.com/list/ZDP2Lc

You might want to check out r/buildapcforme and look at their pinned posts. The $1000 and $1100 builds there often have better performance for the price you're aiming for!
You could save some money by opting for a cheaper CPU like the Ryzen 5 5600 for around $119. Also, a more affordable CPU cooler and a slightly less powerful PSU could free up funds for a better GPU. Here’s the link to what I found: pcpartpicker.com/list/Dym4kf.
I think you could do better with your components. If you adjust your budget a bit, you might make the switch to an AM5 CPU and possibly find a used GPU to cut back on costs without sacrificing too much performance.
You could consider improving the GPU and finding a more budget-friendly setup. Check out this build I put together: it keeps costs down while boosting performance. For instance, I suggest a Ryzen 5 5600X paired with a GEforce RTX 5060 Ti for excellent game performance without overspending. Here's the breakdown: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X for about $129, a decent cooler for around $35, and all other components totaling just under $1000!
I heard the UD90 switched to QLC flash memory recently. It might be better to go for the MP44L instead!
I wouldn’t recommend going overboard with liquid cooling! It's not worth 10% of your total budget. A good air cooler would be just fine for a build in this price range.
That's a solid suggestion! I love how you balanced saving and performance.
