Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 3600 in my PC, but I've noticed it's starting to bottleneck my RX 7600 XT, so I'm looking to upgrade my CPU. My budget is 300€ or less, and I want to stick with the AM4 socket for now because switching to AM5 is too pricey with the new RAM and motherboard. Here are my current specs: Ryzen 5 3600 with an AIO cooler, RX 7600 XT (16GB), 64GB DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz, a 1000W PSU, and storage that includes several HDDs and two NVMe SSDs on an Asus TUF Gaming B550-Plus. Any recommendations on a CPU that would work well for gaming?

You might want to check out the Ryzen 5700X3D; I've seen it for around your budget on AliExpress. It packs a punch!
Quick question though – how does the L3 cache really improve performance? I usually thought higher clock speeds were better for gaming.
The 5800XT is also a fantastic choice if you're looking for a balance between price and performance. It's around $100 cheaper and should give you a significant boost in gaming. If you're on a tighter budget, the 5500 or standard 5600 are solid options too!
If you’re looking to jump into AM5 eventually, consider a 9600X combo if you find a deal. You could sell off your AM4 parts to cover the RAM costs and you'd get a solid upgrade with future potential.
If you want a solid upgrade, the Ryzen 5600 is great and it's typically less expensive than the 5700X3D. Definitely worth considering!
If you're considering something really powerful for a bit more, you could look into a used 5950X. I saw one for around $319. Just a thought!
I've found it cheaper on Amazon UK, like £199. Ebuyer has it for about £240. Might be worth shopping around!
