I'm trying to upgrade my older gaming PC to turn it into a Plex server, but I also want to do some light gaming at 1440p on it. Currently, it's running a GTX 980, which is really outdated. The specs include 32GB of DDR4 RAM and an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X processor. While the processor isn't too old, I believe the graphics card is the main issue. I'm looking for a budget graphics card under $250 that has at least two HDMI outputs since my dual monitors only support HDMI. Any recommendations?

You'll want to look into either a GTX 3060 or a 3060 Ti. They should be powerful enough for Plex and light gaming, and you can likely find them used for under $250. If you want a bit more gaming performance, a 3070 Ti would work even better, but it might stretch your budget slightly. Just make sure you have a proper PSU to support it!
I'd recommend checking platforms like eBay or dedicated PC hardware shops for used cards rather than just Facebook Marketplace. It’s usually safer to go with reputable sellers.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll look into the 3060 options.
