My trusty RTX 2060 has finally given up after over six years of service, and I need a new graphics card on a tight budget. I'm looking for a quick replacement that won't be outdated in a couple of years—ideally a slight upgrade. I've got around 300 EUR to spend, and the only options I see with more than 8GB of VRAM are the Intel B580 with 16GB and the RTX 3060 with 12GB. I know the RX 9060XT with 16GB would be a great choice if I could afford it, but I'm curious about which cheaper options would be better for me. I play mostly esports games at 240Hz in 1080p but plan to move to 1440p soon, which is why I want decent VRAM. My specs include a Ryzen 5 5600, 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM, a Seasonic 750W PSU, and an ASRock B450m Pro4 R2.0.

I highly recommend you stretch your budget a bit for the RX 9060XT 16GB. It's a fantastic long-term investment that will last you quite a while!

While the 9060XT sounds tempting, the B580 offers better performance for your money. Around my area, the 9060XT is much pricier but only gives a slight edge in framerate compared to the B580, especially if you go for the lower-end models.
