I'm looking for advice on cordless handsets for a client who uses the Teams Phone system, specifically with the Teams client or Yealink hardware phones like the MP54 E2. They have staff that need to roam around their work area, and not everyone has a cell phone to use. I've seen non-Teams IP phones that are compatible, but I'm also curious about desk phones with built-in Bluetooth capabilities, where a Bluetooth handset can be used instead of a wired one. It's important to note that the Teams Phone setup doesn't have any infrastructure onsite, so all new devices must be directly compatible with Microsoft services. I'm eager to hear how others are managing similar situations!

You can use Yealink Teams phones and pair them with a Bluetooth headset. I did just that at our office, and it works great for roaming around! Let me know if you need model numbers; I can share those.
We're currently testing out the Yealink AX83h, which is a WiFi DECT phone. The Teams functionality is somewhat limited, but it’s been decent in our trials. If you're just looking for basic calling capabilities, it might work for you.

Yeah, I hear you! The essential feature of just receiving calls is a priority, and it seems like the AX series should fit that need without all the fancy extras.
