I recently upgraded my GPU from a GTX 1660 Super to a 3060 12GB after scoring a fantastic deal. Along with that, I made a slight change in my CPU from an i5 6600k to a Ryzen 5 4500, which I got for free. Now, I'm looking for the best CPU options on the AM4 platform that would fit my budget of around $400. What do you suggest?

You really don’t need to spend $400 on an AM4 CPU. I’d recommend going for a Ryzen 5700X or 5800X. They’ll serve you well with your new GPU and are reasonably priced.
I was thinking about the 5800X too! It looks like it’s around $240 on Amazon, which is a great deal.
