I'm currently using an Intel Core i5-12400F processor on an Asus B660m WiFi motherboard. I'm planning to upgrade my GPU from a 3070 to a Radeon 9070XT, but I'm wondering what CPU I should consider upgrading to afterward. Any recommendations?

Honestly, considering the B660's VRM quality and that it's DDR4, upgrading the CPU while keeping the same board might not be worth it.
Your B660 motherboard supports both 12th and 13th generation Intel CPUs. I recommend starting with the GPU upgrade first, especially since you’re looking at 1440p or 4K, and then see if you feel the need for a CPU upgrade afterward.
I had a similar setup, but I switched to AMD because my motherboard couldn't handle the upgrades as well as I wanted. If the quality of your B660m is decent, you can go for the 13th gen or i5-14600, but switching to an AM5 setup could be a better long-term investment.
A great upgrade for your setup would be the i7-12700KF or the i7-13700KF. They'd really boost your gaming performance without compromising your current motherboard too much.
