Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a versatile gaming laptop that won't break the bank. I'm looking for something with a screen resolution around 1080p or 1440p and a refresh rate of at least 120Hz. My budget is ideally close to $1000, but I'm willing to stretch it up to $1500 if necessary for the right hardware. For context, I currently use a MacBook Pro M2, but I need a Windows system for my gaming and other tasks, so I prefer not to deal with running Windows on my Mac. I'm using an Acer Aspire VX15 with 16GB RAM and GTX 1050ti, which was around $500. It plays most games on low to medium settings pretty well, but the LCD screen isn’t great, and I’ve had some issues with it overheating. It’s a decent budget option if you don’t need top-notch performance.
