Best Gaming Laptops Under $1500: Need Your Recommendations!

Hey everyone! I'm in the market for a versatile gaming laptop that won't break the bank. I'm looking for something with a screen resolution around 1080p or 1440p and a refresh rate of at least 120Hz. My budget is ideally close to $1000, but I'm willing to stretch it up to $1500 if necessary for the right hardware. For context, I currently use a MacBook Pro M2, but I need a Windows system for my gaming and other tasks, so I prefer not to deal with running Windows on my Mac. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!

If you're looking for a laptop that can handle gaming and even video editing, check out the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16. It strikes a good balance for performance and price. I've also got a list of other options if you're interested, but this one really stands out for versatility!

I’ve seen that laptop recommended a lot! Just a heads up, it’s beefy hardware-wise, so it should meet your needs easily.

Definitely consider the Lenovo Legion 7 Pro or 9. They have powerful specs, but remember, you need to invest in quality. A good amount of RAM (like 128GB) and a fast i9 processor will make a big difference in performance!

Haha, you might be going a bit overkill there—128GB is massive for gaming!

I'm using an Acer Aspire VX15 with 16GB RAM and GTX 1050ti, which was around $500. It plays most games on low to medium settings pretty well, but the LCD screen isn’t great, and I’ve had some issues with it overheating. It’s a decent budget option if you don’t need top-notch performance.

Yikes, I wouldn’t recommend that one. I've had friends with the same issues you mentioned, especially with the screen.
