I'm in the process of building my first gaming PC and looking for some recommendations for a graphics card. My budget is around $500 to $850 NZD, and I don't typically play extremely demanding games. I've heard that right now might not be the best time to buy a GPU or RAM, so I'd also like advice on when would be the best time to make these purchases.

I’d recommend the GeForce 5070 Ti. It can run games at 1440p with high settings effortlessly. In my experience, Nvidia cards outperform AMD ones, especially because of DLSS technology, which offers better visuals and higher FPS compared to FSR.
