Best GPU for 1440p Gaming: Should I Go for the 5070, 5070 Ti, or 9070 XT?

I'm looking for advice on upgrading my GPU for 1440p gaming at max settings. My goal is to play modern games like Dying Light and the RE4 Remake smoothly, ideally achieving around 120 FPS or more. I don't mind the power usage, so long as my power supply can handle it.

Here's my current setup:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
- Motherboard: ASRock B550M Pro4 (AM4)
- RAM: 16 GB
- Power Supply: EVGA 750 W
- SSD: Samsung 980 1 TB
- Case: DeepCool Matrexx 40 (max GPU length 320 mm)

I'm considering the following GPUs:
- RTX 5070
- RTX 5070 Ti
- RTX 5060 Ti 16GB
- AMD RX 9070 XT

I'd like to know which of these cards would perform best for my needs, any recommendations that fit in my case, whether my PSU can support the 9070 XT or 5070 Ti, and if the extra VRAM is crucial for future games. Also, should I buy used or new for peace of mind?

If you’re aiming for max settings at 1440p, I’d definitely lean towards the RX 9070 XT. It performs well for the price and meets your length requirements. The 5070 Ti can be a great option too, especially if you find it cheaper, but generally, the 9070 XT is the way to go. Just make sure to check the prices in your area for the best deal!

Thanks for the input! The 5070 Ti is priced at 800€ around here, which feels too steep compared to the 9070 XT at 600€. Do you think the lack of ray tracing is a big deal for future games?
