I'm looking for suggestions on a GPU that can handle 4K video editing as well as gaming at 1080p and 1440p resolutions. I'm currently using an i5 12400F processor. Would an RTX 5060 or RX 9060 XT be a good choice?

Just a heads-up, if you're on a budget and can't afford the 12GB versions, be prepared for some compromises in gaming performance with the lower VRAM cards. But they can still run most games well depending on the settings you choose!
A lot of new GPUs are hitting the market now, but I noticed the 12GB models are just too pricey for my budget. What do you think about going for an 8GB card instead?
If you’re focusing on video editing, Nvidia GPUs are usually a better pick due to their CUDA cores, which can significantly speed up rendering tasks. For gaming, either the 5060 or the 9060 XT could work, but the 5060 is generally more optimized for upcoming titles.

That’s solid advice! But is 8GB of VRAM enough for 1080p gaming, especially with games like GTA 6 on the horizon?
