Best GPU Upgrade for 1080p Gaming: RTX 3060/3060 Ti vs 5060

Hey all! I'm looking to upgrade my PC primarily for gaming but keep in mind, I'm not a hardcore gamer. Right now, I mostly play Genshin Impact, which runs fine, and Hogwarts Legacy, which doesn't run as well—I'm experiencing low FPS and poor image quality that's hard on my eyes.

Currently, my setup includes:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (3.9 GHz)
- Motherboard: Asus Prime A320M-C R2.0 (DDR4)
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GT 1030
- Monitor: MSI, 1920x1080, 144 Hz

I'm considering upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600X and need advice on the GPU. Should I go for the RTX 3060 or 3060 Ti for smooth 1080p gaming, or should I invest in the newer RTX 5060? I've seen varying opinions on the 5060, with some saying it's not great and others claiming it's solid. My total budget is around $800–850 (and I prefer buying locally rather than online). Thoughts on what CPU and GPU combo would work best for me? Any suggestions would be super helpful!

Have you checked if there's a Microcenter nearby? They often have great deals on components. If you're okay with used parts, you might find an RTX 3080 or RX 6800XT in your price range, which would give you a significant performance boost. Just make sure to check your power supply to ensure it can handle the extra consumption. If you're looking new, maybe look at the RX 9060XT too; it's another solid choice at a similar price.

Yeah, I'm looking to buy new primarily. I appreciate the suggestion about the RX 9060; I've mostly just heard about Nvidia cards, so it's good to know Radeon options could work too!
