Best GPU Upgrade for My Older System?

I'm currently running an Intel i5-9400F with an H310M-R R2 motherboard, a 500W power supply, and 16GB of RAM. I'm looking to upgrade my GPU to something from the new generation that fits this setup. I know my build is a bit outdated, but I can't afford a complete overhaul right now and just want to enjoy games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 with good FPS and no drops. What GPU would you recommend?

Given your specs, I'd recommend the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 or the AMD Radeon RX 7600. Both should perform well for your gaming needs. Just double-check that your PSU cables are compatible and that your case can accommodate the GPU size. You shouldn't face any FPS drops with either of these!

After doing some research, I think the 4060 fits my budget well; it's about $325 here.

You might also consider the RTX 5060 or the RX 9060XT. They offer solid performance as well.

Is the 5060 going to bottleneck with my current setup?
