I'm planning to upgrade my PC, mainly focusing on gaming at 1440p. Currently, my setup includes an i7 11700k processor, 32GB of dual-channel DDR4 3200MHz RAM, an ASUS Prime Z590-A motherboard, and a Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super graphics card. While I can still play most games at decent FPS, I have to lower the graphics settings for some of the more demanding AAA titles. I'm considering that upgrading my GPU could be the best approach. What do you think, and what would you recommend?

What’s your budget for the GPU upgrade? If you can stretch it to about 1000 CAD, you could get a really nice card. Honestly, upgrading just the GPU should give you the best bang for your buck right now.
Maybe think about upgrading to an i5-14600 along with a 5060 Ti (16GB) if you're considering more than just a GPU upgrade. It can provide a good balance and performance boost for future titles.
If you're looking for a budget-friendly GPU around $250, I recommend checking out the Intel Arc B580, which comes with 12GB of VRAM. It should help with your gaming performance without breaking the bank.
Your current setup is pretty solid! Consider upgrading to something like the RTX 9070 XT or the 4070 Ti Super. They offer great value for what you're getting and would make a noticeable difference in your gaming experience.
