Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to PC building and it's time for me to upgrade my setup. I'm located in the UK and planning to assemble a custom PC from the ground up. Right now, I'm trying to choose a graphics card. My gaming preferences are mainly MMOs and Souls games, nothing too graphically intense like GTA V or RDR2. My budget is around £500, and I'd really appreciate any recommendations. I'd prefer to invest a little extra now to get a card that will last me for the long haul instead of needing a replacement in a couple of years. Thanks!

For a budget of around £500, you might want to consider the 5070—it’s right within that range. If you can stretch your budget by about £60, you could go for the 9070, which has more VRAM and slightly better performance. However, honestly, the 5070 is a solid choice without that extra spend.
Thanks for the suggestion! Quick question though: there are several brands like Pallit and Gigabyte making the 5070. Does it matter which one I choose, or as long as it has the 5070 chipset, it’ll fit my needs?
