Hey everyone! I've been digging into the motherboard options recently, especially for the AM5 platform, and I'm searching for the best one to pair with my new setup. Here's what I'm working with:
- CPU: AMD 9700X
- GPU: 5070 Ti (leaning towards an ASUS TUF, but still deciding)
- RAM: 32GB (16GB x 2) at 6000MHz from Kingston
- Storage: Kingston KC3000, possibly 1TB or even 2TB NVMe
- Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360
- PSU: A 1000W Be Quiet ATX 3.1 (brand not confirmed yet)
- Case: It has plenty of fans—3 in front, 1 in the back, 2 on the sides, 2 at the bottom, and 3 at the top (not picky about the brand)
I'm particularly looking for a B850 motherboard for this build and want to run AI software on it. I'd like to steer clear of ASUS and ASRock—are there any good options from Gigabyte or MSI?

Honestly, most options should work fine. Just steer clear of Asus or ASRock for now. Look for something budget-friendly with substantial heat sinks and ensure it supports PCIe 5.0 for both the GPU and SSD. That should set you up nicely!
Thanks for the advice! I’m thinking of going with the Gigabyte B850 Eagle with WiFi. I haven't come across any major issues with that one. Am I on the right track?
