I'm looking for recommendations on the best motherboard to pair with my Ryzen 7 9700X. My main focus is gaming, but I also want to keep my options open for future tech advancements. I've noticed that the B850m offers solid VRM support for overclocking, while the B650 has a much better VRM setup, even if it's based on older technology. Here are two boards I'm considering: the MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi and the Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite. Any thoughts?

Have you checked out the MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk? It's a solid choice for the 9700X and offers great features for gaming. Just keep in mind, it can be a bit on the pricier side!
Since the Ryzen 9700X is fairly efficient at 65W, you might not need top-tier VRMs. A decent motherboard will do just fine unless you plan to push the TDP for more demanding games.
