I'm looking to build the best PC I can for a budget of £4000, mainly for gaming and video editing. What components would you recommend to get the most out of that budget?

You could check out this list I found: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/h6TLC8. Just a thought, but I think a graphics card like the 5090 paired with 32GB of RAM would be a solid choice over the 5080 with 64GB. Might need more input from others to be sure though!

For video editing, more CPU cores can really help. I'd suggest considering a 9950x3d for better performance. And since the 5090 is pricey, maybe look into a secondhand 4090? Also, 32GB RAM is decent, but might limit you in the future.
