I'm working on a build with an OptiPlex 7050 MT and really want to find a powerful GPU that fits my limited space. My setup includes an i7 7770, 64GB of 2400MHz DDR4 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD, and some hefty storage, but I'm particularly focused on the GPU. The GPU I choose needs to be no longer than 9 inches and no wider than 3 slots. It must have at least 16GB of VRAM and I'm looking to spend around $500 to $600, either new or used. Any recommendations?

Optiplex builds can be a fun challenge! It’s all about maximizing the space while accepting some limitations. Just remember that not all coolers and fans will work perfectly, so keep an eye on that. It’s a great way to dive back into PC building, just don’t expect a powerhouse—more like a solid media/gaming server!
First off, make sure to convert your measurements to millimeters to get accurate sizes. After that, check out PCPartPicker and use their filter options for GPUs that fit your size and VRAM requirements.
For GPU recommendations, I'd suggest checking out the Asus 5060 Ti Dual OC, the Gigabyte Windforce OC 5060 Ti, or the Power Color Radeon RX 9060 XT. They fit your size restrictions and should give you solid performance!

Exactly! It's all about finding the right balance. Those small cases really test your creativity!
