Best RAM and Motherboard for My Upgrade? Need Advice on WiFi vs Ethernet

I'm looking to upgrade my PC and really just need assistance deciding on RAM and a motherboard. My goal is to double the performance of my current setup and be able to run games on high settings at around 75-120fps. I'm using Ethernet currently, but I'm unsure if WiFi would be a better option.

I have some OCD-related concerns about RAM. I want 64GB, but the idea of using 2x32GB sticks is difficult for me due to my aversion to the number 32. I'm considering using 1x64GB stick, but I'm worried it could cause issues. Is it possible to install RAM in configurations like 4x(2x8GB)?

I also have some parts in my cart from Scorptec, but I'm hesitant to share it yet. Would it be okay for me to send a screenshot of my current specs?

Hey! It's great to hear you're upgrading. Just a heads up, don’t buy a single 1x64GB stick; it will limit your RAM's bandwidth since DDR needs to be in dual-channel mode for optimal speed. For your setup, look at 2x16GB sticks instead. Regarding your motherboard, anything from Gigabyte, ASUS, or MSI should work well if you're on the AM5 platform. If you're okay with spending a bit, mATX boards are cheaper but ATX boards offer more features if you want that flexibility later on!

Thanks for the input! I was considering 2x24GB as a potential option too since I don't mind investing a bit more money. My cart currently stands at around $1168 AUD, so I can afford to go overboard a little.
